Paris Air Show 2023
Das Team aus Alabama für die Anwerbung von Unternehmen war auf der Paris Air Show vom 19.-25. Juni 2023 aktiv und führte Termine mit Luft- und Raumfahrtunternehmen durch. Neben Alabama waren auch 15 weitere Bundesstaaten im US-Pavillon der Luftfahrtausstellung vertreten, darunter Florida, South Carolina, Mississippi, Washington, Kansas und Ohio. Große US-Städte wie Seattle, Wichita und Little Rock waren ebenfalls vertreten, ebenso Länder und Regionen wie Umbrien (Italien) und Québec (Kanada).
Bob Smith, Luft- und Raumfahrtspezialist des Handelsministeriums von Alabama, äußerte sich positiv über die Leistung des Teams des Bundesstaates. Bei zahlreichen Terminen mit Luft- und Raumfahrtunternehmen wurden bestehende Geschäftsbeziehungen vertieft und es konnten neue Verbindungen zu Unternehmen geknüpft werden, die sich im Bundesstaat ansiedeln wollen.
Die Messe in Paris bot eine wichtige Plattform, um die Luft- und Raumfahrtindustrie Alabamas zu fördern.

Alabama's business recruitment team was active at the Paris Air Show June 19-25, 2023, conducting appointments with aerospace companies. In addition to Alabama, 15 other states were represented in the U.S. pavilion at the air show, including Florida, South Carolina, Mississippi, Washington, Kansas and Ohio. Major U.S. cities such as Seattle, Wichita and Little Rock were also represented, as were countries and regions such as Umbria, Italy, and Quebec, Canada.
Bob Smith, aerospace specialist for the Alabama Department of Commerce, was positive about the state team's performance. Numerous meetings with aerospace companies deepened existing business relationships and forged new connections with companies looking to locate in the state.
The Paris show provided an important platform to promote Alabama's aerospace industry.
